KEITH HUTCHINS, MS, PA-C

 

Holds Bachelor of Science degrees from George Washington University in Health Science and Medical Science. Graduating from Military Physician Assistant (PA) Program / George Washington University in 1993.  Also has a Master’s degree from University of Nebraska in sports medicine.  Currently working on a Doctor of Health Science degree from Nova University Fla. 

 

Keith joined Northern Carolina Orthopaedics after retiring from the US Navy with 30 years of service.  With 13 years as a Navy PA he obtained training and experience in emergency medicine, family/ internal medicine, sports medicine /orthopedics, and surgical first assistant.  He was awarded designation as physician assistant in orthopedics and had 7 years in orthopedics and sports medicine with a very active community of Navy and Marine Corps service members and their families at Camp Lejeune and Camp Pendleton.  Other medical training included: combat medical care, advance trauma life support, global medicine, and medical humanitarian assistance.   

            

         He is active in professional PA associations such as American Association of PA’s (Fellow, and House of Delegate member), Naval Association of PA’s (past president), and member of Physician Assistant’s in Orthopedic Surgery.
